Another reason why I LOVE Shutterfly!

So Shutterfly has this great deal going on where I tell everyone I know how wonderful they are and they give me 50 free Christmas cards! :) How great is that! There are so many great designs to choose from, I'm not sure where I'm going to start. I've really been into the bright colors lately, so I'm leaning towards Snowing joy or Vivid hope! :) All kinds of fun bright colors, and the best part, I can put more than just single picture on each card! :) Woohoo! Anyone who knows me knows how well documented Jack is!

Another thing that I love is their Holiday Story cards! It allows you to include a letter and a picture all in one! It's A-MAZING!!! My favorite design of those is the Top Ten Moments Christmas Card!! Go here to check them out! They're great!

If you want to see all that shutterfly has to offer just visit their website. You can see all of their cards from here!

I also MUST mention that they are running a fantastic deal right now, 20% off ALL Holiday cards! You can get promotion codes and such here!

I really hope everyone checks it out! I ordered from them last year, for Jacks birth annoucements and LOVED them!

I'm Not Very Good At This!

So my goal was to post on this blog at least once a week...well it's been about a month and a half since my last post. Things are extra crazy around here lately it seems. I am back to work full-time, which has it's ups and downs. I miss being home with Jack every afternoon, but I do love being in the classroom. My kids are all great this year, and I think we're going to have a lot of fun! :)

Jack is practically walking, which is amazing and scary at the same time! He pulls himself up to whatever he can find, the couch, the tv stand, a wall, and has let go a couple of times and stood. It only lasts about 5 seconds, but I swear one of these times he's just going to take off!

In the last month-ish, we've also celebrated our 2nd Anniversary, Kyle and Jessica's 4th Anniversary, Nick's 16th Birthday (very scary), Kohl's 3rd birthday and we have bought a new car. We also traveled to South Dakota for our friends, Kaleb and Jana's wedding. It was a beautiful day and it was our first big road trip as a small little family. On our way out we visited Car Henge in Alliance, and Mount Rushmore. We had a lot of fun, and got to spend quality time with great friends, and John's parents went too. I can't believe the summer is over, but it was a really great one, and I'm really looking forward to fall!

Here are a few pictures from all of our endeavors this last month, and I will try and be better about updating this more often! :)

All the Kohles Cousins at Kohl's Birthday Party

The Happy Couple!

After the wedding, where Jack not only threw up all over Grandma Kohles, but also burped and farted many times throughout the ceremony..he's so rude...but it made for a good laugh!

He's super excited to be at Mount Rushmore!

Another small reminder that Jack is growing up more and more every day! :(

Not only is Jack already 7 MONTHS OLD, he sat in the highchair at the restaraunt tonight. We didn't even take his carseat in, no more sling for us! He did try and chew on the table and the edges of the seat, but we stopped that part of it, as best we could! :) He loved sitting there with us, drinking out of his big boy cup, and attempting to eat puffs, and I think everyone who passed stopped to say hello! In true Jack fashion, he gave them one of his trademark smiles, now accented with a small tooth! :) It's so cute!

Back Home Again In Indiana! :)

For the fourth of July this year, we all traveled to Indiana to be with Matt and Kristen! It was the first time, in my recent memory that we got to spend the holiday with Matt! We all piled in the car Thursday night, and drove the 8 hours to Valpo. Jack did fantastic, and slept most of the time. There were a few times while I was driving that I heard the all too familiar sound of the bird toy on his carseat being tugged at, but he never really cried. He was an awesome traveler!

While we were in Valpo, we not only got to see Matt and Kristen, but most everyone from Busco drove up for a BBQ at Matt's Golf Course! It was great to see everyone and it was so much fun having them all meet Jack. He was his happy little self the whole time, and I think they all loved him. While my mom and her sisters sat around chatting, and Jack supposedly napped (I think Grandma never put him down! :) ) Jess Gavin and I went out on the golf course with the guys. It was a lot of fun to be out there with them, cruising around on the golf carts! I had never done that before.

We also got to visit some old haunts while we were there. We went to Schoops, for quite possibly the best burgers and milk shakes ever, El Salto for the most amazing quesidillas, and Blythes, just to check out the local sports apparel. We also got to go play at ValPLAYso, which was a brand new playground when we lived there in the mid nineties. It was as much fun, if not more, as I remember it. Jack loved the swings and playing in the sand! I can't believe he's old enough to enjoy that kind of thing! We also went to the Albanese Candy Factory (YUM!) and the boys got to swim in a new baby pool Grandma bought on Sunday before we drove home.

We had all kinds of fun in Indiana and I was so grateful for the weekend away! I can't wait to go back in November for Holly's wedding!

I will post all kinds of pictures later, but for now it's time for bed! :) Here is just a taste of what the trip was like! :)

Jack Robert

This weekend was a very busy one for us. John was in KC for his friend Kaleb's bachelor party, so Jack and I had a fun weekend of hanging out. My mom was moving into her new house on Saturday, so we spent most of the weekend helping with the move and getting things put together. Having all of this wonderful time with Jack just reminds me how much of a blessing he is in our life! He is quite possibly the happiest little guy in the world, and he can make me smile without even trying. I love how his whole face lights up when he smiles, and he hands those wonderful smiles out like it is his job! I love him more and more every day!

We HEART Rosenblatt

Well the CWS is here, and for the Kohles family, that means lots of days and nights spent at Rosenblatt. John's parents have season tickets, so it's a big deal every year! We didn't go to as many games this year as we have in years passed, but we had to make sure that Jack at least got there once.

John did get to spend his first Father's Day at the Blatt hanging out with his family and that of course was a good time. It was rainy, and they didn't even start the first game until 5:30, but it was fun even in the rain. The kids had fun sending paper plate boats with grape pirates down the streams with Papa Kohles, and the adults stayed as dry as we could under the tent!

I think Jack really liked his time at the game and kept everyone around us very entertained! :) He laughed at the lady behind us, and she didn't even have to do anything! He's such a happy little guy!

We are sad to see Rosenblatt go, but we'll make all kinds of new memories at the new stadium I'm sure!
